AM-series sensors, with compact design, allow installation of standard pipe fittings in small sizes such as ¾ '', and 1 '', without the need of solid flow cells.
The simplicity of the design also allows them to be economically offered in exotic metals for especially corrosive chemical applications.
The wetted material of the construction is 316 stainless steel and Teflon, with double O-rings at all points. The outer EPDM O-ring carries the process interface, allowing the back O-ring to maintain a reliable seal to avoid chemical attack. An integral temperature element tailored to the analyzer of choice, allowing automatic compensation to achieve maximum accuracy. Leads are 15’ standard, stripped and tinned ends.
The connection process is made via a thread of ½ ’’ NPT (AM12) or ¾ ’’ NPT (AM34). This fitting can be screwed into a line or tank, and it can also be turned and connected to a standpipe for use in a submersion configuration. The AM Series is good for general purposes and covers a wider range of conductivities.
AMB34 sensor is designed to measure high pressure, high temperature conductivity and is the ideal choice for boiler control applications.
