The AM-2251 is the newest member of the 2250 family. Built in the form of the AM-2250, it replaces 2200D as a DO controller and toroidal conductivity.
With extremely easy-to-use operation, select the parameter you want to measure from the LCD menu on the inside front cover. Choose Conductivity, pH, ORP or D.O. The user interface is designed on the principle that users do not need to read the instructions.
With AM-2251, you can control external devices with three independent alarm and control relays. Each relay has a adjustable high, low and in range set-points, cycle timer, with adjustable on and off timing. This feature provides tighter control of batch processes by eliminating excessive chemicals. The third relay can also be activated by temperature.
The AM-2251 offers two separate, independent and scalable 4-20 mA outputs.
One 4-20 mA output can be configured for PID control. Most users will only use it for proportional control but the integration and derivative terms can still be used for advanced control.
AM-2251 comes complete. There is no need to pay additional costs related to buying boards for different sensors or components to achieve Nema 4X.
AM-2251 is packed in a rugged polycarbonate Nema 4X enclosure, which is ideal for heavy-duty indoor and outdoor applications. A mounting kit is included for surface and panel mounting. The enclosure outline makes panel-mount cutouts simple. Pipe mounting kits are available.
The AM-2251 has a backlit LCD screen with backlight visible from far away. The keypad allows easy entry of menu items and numeric values.
No other controller can provide flexibility and ease of calibration like the AM -2251 control screen. The value is displayed during calibration so that the user knows when it has settled down. Calibration of pH can be with 2 or 3 points. Conductivity calibration can take up to 16 points so that acids and bases can be measured through their conductivity.
All calibration data is stored.
